Description
Description
One of the first followers of Saint Francis, St. Clare founded the Order of Poor Ladies, a monastic order for women in the Franciscan tradition. Inspired by St. Francis, and following his call for a simple life, Clare lived a courageous religious life dedicated to humility, poverty, and immersed in prayer. Our felt ode to Saint Clare, features her holding a shining monstrance, with appliqué Lily flowers on her skirts, symbols of her purity and peace.
